SOUTH KOREA'S PARIS BAGUETTE MAKES CAMBODIA DEBUT

Paris Baguette parent company, SPC Group, has opened its first branch of bakery and coffee chain in Cambodia as part of a franchise agreement with local firm HSC Group.

Cambodia has become the sixth country that Paris Baguette enters. Phnom Penh store is the first joint-venture store SPC Group has established since its global business began.

Starting with Cambodia, Paris Baguette is expected to expand the number of its overseas stores by embracing new strategies including joint venture and master franchise.

SPC Group is using Singapore as its base in entering neighboring countries.

Paris Baguette is the largest food-focused coffee chain in South Korea and operates around 4,000 stores globally. While the vast majority of its stores are located in its native South Korean market, Paris Baguette’s parent company SPC Group operates around 430 stores in China, the US, France, Vietnam, Singapore, and now Cambodia.

It operates a total of 17 hospitality brands in South Korea and internationally, including Paris Croissant, Caffè Pascucci, Jamba Juice, and Shake Shack.
